Here are some of the technical terms that you might encounter that may be unfamiliar to you when using eParcel.
AP Manager - Your Aust Post Manager or Representative.
API Key - (LAID) linksync application ID, issued by the linksync admin interface http://admin.linksync.com/ - test API Keys for this project will be provided separately. Used to be known as LAID (linksync Application ID) but was changed to API Key in late 2014.
Article - is a term used by Aust Post for a single parcel or package
Charge code -
Charge Zone - Geographical grouping of postcodes used for charging purposes e.g. V1 might be postcodes 3000-3210 Vic Metro.
Consignment - One or more related parcels or articles sharing the same service requirement, being lodged at the same time by the same merchant to the same delivery address.
Consignment Number - Number that uniquely identifies a consignment.
CTO - Known as, Chief Technology Officer, is the person that oversees technology being used in a company.
Despatch - is the process of lodging or sending off your Manifests from your linksync eParcel extension to the Aust Post server, through a despatch button.
eParcel - Australia Post's freight management solution which offers basic tracking, electronic manifesting and signature on delivery of parcels.
ERP - Known as, Enterprise Resource Planning, a type of business management system used by big companies that is used for data storage.

LWE - linksync WooCommerce Extension
LWS - linksync web service - details regarding the operations of LWS can be found at http://api.linksync.com/
Manifest - Paper and/or electronic line listing of all consignments and articles lodged at one time.
Manifest Number - Unique ID for manifest.

Plug-in - A software component that enables new features and functionalities.
SFTP - Known as, Secure File Transfer Protocol, is the act of moving data from one server to another.
Webhook URL - Facilitates in reflecting changes made from a remote system to the WooCommerce site.
